Dr Srikanth Srinivasan

MD (Gen), DM (Neuro), ​Master of Psychiatry (Melb)​

Dr. Srikanth is a Consultant Neurologist at the Lanka [Apollo] Hospitals, Colombo, Sri Lanka. He trained in Neurology at the Madras Medical College, Chennai and later at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences [NIMHANS], Bengaluru. He obtained further training in Dementia from the Memory and Aging Center, University of California, San Francisco, USA and in Neuropsychiatry from St. George’s Hospital, London and National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London. He has also subsequently obtained his Masters In Psychiatry degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia. His subspecialty interests are in Dementia and Neuropsychiatry in which fields he is actively involved in both clinical practice and research.

Dr Gitanjali Natarajan

Dr. Gitanjali Natarajan is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist She is Clinical Associate Professor and HOD in the Dept of Clinical Psychology. Her areas of interest are Adult mental health- Anxiety and Mood disorders, Personality disorders, Marital and Family Counselling, Adolescent adjustment issues, as well as Research & Teaching. Prior to joining Niyama, she was the Head of Faculty at Amrita Hospital. She was also previously Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Lakeshore Hospital & Research Centre, where she started the Dept of Clinical Psychology.She was the recipient of the Fulbright Doctoral & Professional fellowship with placement at the Social Relations lab of Columbia University, New York. She has done her M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore and was awarded the Dr. M. V. Gobindaswamy Memorial Prize for highest marks in Post-graduate Degree of M.Phil. Clinical Psychology for the year 2004. She has also received the Alexander Memorial Award for Meritorious performance during graduation at Union Christian College, Aluva. ‍

Dr Mahesh Kundagol

Chief Ayurveda Psychiatrist
Dr Mahesh is distinguished academician, clinician, and a researcher with the specialization in Ayurvedic psychiatry, Ayurveda Psychotherapy, counselling, and gut health. With 15 years of academic and clinical and research experience. He has worked in the field of Academic stress, occupational stress, family stress, and mood disorders. His recent area of research includes identifying the early signs of anxiety and depression in both Adult and in Children and in designing protocols to prevent them holistically. His recent research area includes assessment of the gut health and its role in relationship to mental health. He has developed the first of its kind evidenced based standardized Ayurveda proprietary assessment and diagnostics scale to assess Gut, Anxiety, and depressive disorders as per the principles of Classical Ayurveda Science.‍
